Talented Divorce and Estate Planning Lawyer

Andrew K Keutmann
Attorney Keutmann has been practicing family and estate law in Middlesex, Suffolk and the surrounding counties since 2011. Originally from New York, he attended Boston University School of Law and graduated with honors. While there, he served as editor for the Boston University Law Review.

Attorney Keutmann has now been thrice named to the Massachusetts Super Lawyers 2016, 2017 & 2018 "Rising Stars" lists. A distinction awarded to only 2.5% of lawyers in Massachusetts. Meanwhile, in 2018, the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys named Mr. Keutmann Top 10 Under 40 for the State of Massachusetts and the American Institute of Family Law Attorneys named him 10 Best Family Law Attorneys for Client Satisfaction in Massachusetts.

Attorney Keutmann is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Family Law Division and occassionally volunteers at the Suffolk Probate and Family Court serving as the Lawyer of the Day. He is also a certified Conciliator for the Probate and Family Court and as well as certified to act as Guardian ad Litem in disputed custody cases to assist the court in reaching a determination.

Mr. Keutmann has represented countless clients in and out of court. He vigorously represents clients and will fight for what they deserve. Unlike many family law practitioners, he is not afraid to take matters to trial if the other side is not willing to agree to a fair settlement. He has taken several divorce cases to trial winning excellent judgments for his clients which allowed them to retain much more than half the marital estate. These victories have been won against some of the most well-respected litigators in the Boston area. Preparation is key and when you can out maneuver the other side good things happen.

Attorney Keutmann's amicable demeanor and excellent negotiation skills allow him to open lines of communications and negotiate with people who might have previously been at a deadlock. Attorney Keutmann has negotiated settlements which allow both sides to walk away feeling that they have done the right thing for themselves and their children. He believes that through settlement we can often create value and produce the best results for children when the channels of communication are kept open.

If you or someone you know needs help with a family matter, estate plan or probate issue, please do not hesitate to contact Attorney Keutmann to discuss your options.
